The JCMA Conference Experience
The JCMA established in 2003 to establish an annual residential interfaith conference between Jews, Christians and Muslims, aims to enable people of faith to deepen their understanding by meeting, talking, listening, eating, sharing – in short to meet other human beings at a deep level.
Its first Residential Conference was held in August 2004 and has occurred every year since.
The emphasis is on personal experience – how people living in Australia feel, understand, express and enjoy their faith. Although political issues in other parts of the world are discussed over meals or in sessions or perhaps late into the night, the themes encourage us to focus on our faiths in Australia.
