JCMA visits Winchelsea

Dr Paul Gardner, chairman of JCMA’s Membership Committee and his wife Dr Helen Gardner, a member of the Winter Conference Committee and the Women’s Committee, travelled to Winchelsea in Victoria’s Western District in mid-August, where they were the guest speakers at the annual Winchelsea Interchurch dinner.

They spoke about JCMA and its various activities. The dinner brings together congregants from the various churches in the town and surrounding area.

Paul and Helen met with the chair of the Council, Mr Peter Dorman, the newly appointed priest of the Anglican Church, Rev Wendy Gravolin (whose church hall was the venue), Father Herman of the Catholic Church and Pastor Don Cracknell (Uniting Church). Mr Cracknell, in giving the vote of thanks, praised the work of JCMA, saying that it was an organisation that gave hope for the future.
