The historic Richmond Town Hall was the venue for a magnificently successful iftar dinner near the end of Ramadan, jointly hosted by JCMA and Tents For Peace
Mayor Clarke, Mr Southwick and Rabbi Caplan co-signed the Community Accord, pledging support to the values of a multicultural society.
Dr Paul Gardner, chairman of JCMA’s Membership Committee and his wife Dr Helen Gardner, a member of the Winter Conference Committee and the Women’s Committee, travelled to Winchelsea in Victoria’s Western District in mid-August, where they were the guest speakers at the annual Winchelsea Interchurch dinner.

On Sunday the 7th of August, The Leo Baek Centre for Progressive Judaism hosted a Dinner which over 70 people attended.
They heard Imam Riad Gilil talk about Fasting during Ramadan and Rabbi Jonathon Keran-Black share about the Fasting during Tisha B’Av.
Fund Raising Iftar hosted by JCMA and Tents 4 Peace
